Customer Service Assessment Test

Microsoft Skills Test

To do well in this assessment, you should spend some time sharpening your skills in Microsoft Excel and make sure you know the software well. You might also be tested on the Microsoft Word software package too.
It is useful for AT&T to test an employee on these skills because they are core skills that can be often overlooked on a CV without actual evidence.
Behavioral Event Interview
The behavioral event interview is a 1:1 oral test that examines your previous work behaviors. The questions focus on different areas and give you the opportunity to demonstrate certain skills and abilities from your previous work experience.
You should prepare your answers in advance using the STAR method. The STAR method stands for: Situation, Task, Actions you took, Result.
Telephone Ability Battery Test
Attention to detail, reasoning skills, following directions, and reading accuracy are all essential skills needed to work at AT&T, which the telephone ability battery test focuses on.
You will be given four timed tests with 32 minutes to complete them all. These tests are:
Test 1: Attention to detail
The exercise might involve choosing non-identical pairs of terms for a list of identical phrases.
Test 2: Logical reasoning
You will need to use logical thinking and reasoning to best justify the answer.
Test 3: Following instructions (verbal reasoning)
You will be given written and verbal directions to follow and need to use verbal reasoning to comprehend the task.
Test 4: Reading accuracy
In this test, you will be asked to choose the most accurate meaning of a word from a particular phrase.
